Friends of Scouting is the fundraising program for scouts in the Golden Gate District. All funs go directly to helping scouts attend camp, cover their membership fees, and get outdoors! Our District's goal for 2025 is $60,000. Our hope is that:

• Each unit participates in the program, including featuring a Friends of Scouting presentation at one of your unit meetings

• Every member of the District Operating Committee makes a pledge

• We maximize use of the Council's and individual business's matching funds
